Miguel is the Co-Founder of Gilgamesh Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on financial technology that has invested in over 40 companies worldwide.  He also hosts the Fintech Leaders Podcast, one of the most popular fintech and venture capital shows, with over 100,000 followers and three million views in 2024.

Since 2020, Miguel has interviewed 300 + industry leaders, including CEOs of publicly traded companies like David Velez (Nubank), Doug Peterson (S&P Global), Mikhail Lomtadze (Kaspi), and renowned investors and entrepreneurs such as Alan Patricof, Jackie Reses, Sallie Krawcheck, and Nigel Morris.

Before Gilgamesh Ventures, Miguel spent nearly a decade in banking at Citi and MUFG. He holds an MBA from Wharton and an MA from the Lauder Institute, has lived in seven countries, and is fluent in Spanish, Russian, and English.
