Karl Feitelberg is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Resources, Ltd. and Sterling Resources International of Bermuda, Ltd and a licensed Insurance Advisor. Karl oversees all areas involving specialized life insurance services with a distinct focus on wealth transfer and accumulation strategies for UHNW families as well as family enterprise succession and estate planning. Sterling serves regional, national, and international clients and specializes in estate planning strategies with an aim to provide liquidity and reduce gift, estate, and generational taxation.

With more than four decades of experience and a business model deeply embedded in core family principles and values, the success of Sterling is a testament to Karl’s grandfather’s entrepreneurial spirit that initiated the Feitelberg legacy in the insurance industry over 100 years ago. As a youth, and throughout his career, Karl has been fortunate to travel extensively and has been exposed to many cultures. These experiences aided him in developing an exceptional focus and understanding of individual client needs and a sincere commitment to providing ongoing service to his clients.

The firm also advocates and advises clients and prospective clients in related areas, sharing its network of family offices, leading trust and estate planners, tax advisors, and wealth managers. Sterling also provides introductions to other client-centric firms that perform services that Sterling itself does not.

Karl has been a private equity investor for over two decades, and he serves as an advisor to companies focusing on the technology, security, and medical sectors. As a Board Member and key strategic advisor to Nanotronics Health, Karl is working to bring affordable respiratory devices to meet global accessibility needs to combat the COVID-19 crisis.
