John Blaffer Royall

Chief Business Officer, PMB Capital

John is the Chief Business Officer of PMB Capital, a London-based merchant bank and private equity fund founded in 2013 as part of Edmond de Rothschild and subsequently spun out as an independent entity.  John has 25 years of experience serving in a number of private equity, operating, and corporate finance roles for growth equity businesses.  John previously worked in private equity at Health Enterprise Partners and DLJ Merchant Banking (Credit Suisse).  John also served as the CFO of Time Link International Corp., a New York-based provider of enterprise software solutions.  He started his career as an M&A analyst at UBS Warburg.

John is a board member of the Newport Global Summit (Chair), Culturunnners (Chair), Texas Gulf Bank, the Blaffer Museum, and the Blessed Foundation.  He has also produced several global art initiatives and documentary films, including the Antarctic Biennale and Culturunners Healing Arts Initiative.  John holds a BBA in Finance and a BS in Economics from Southern Methodist University, and an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School.

John lives in London with his wife, Céliane, and son, William.
