The Way Forward
In the wake of the global financial crisis, on August 9, 2009, ABANA hosted a summer leadership retreat led by ABANA’s President Wael Chehab and ABANA Board of Directors members. The purpose was to create an environment for US and Arab business leaders to engage in meaningful dialog and begin rebuilding trust.
The retreat was held at the Pell Center at Salve Regina University for International Research and Public Policy. Featured speakers included John Langeloth Loeb Jr., Loeb Rhodes Trust; Mohamed Younes, Chairman, Concord International Investments Group Chairman, L.P.; and Katherine Quinn, Founder & President of Anthony Quinn Foundation.
