In 2009, the Summit began as a US-Arab Leadership Retreat led by ABANA and its Board of Directors. NUSAAC (National US Arab Chamber of Commerce) and IEA (International Economic Alliance) became critical partner companies and were co-hosts to the 2013-2014 summits. We officially rebranded as Newport Global Summit in 2015 and now more than a decade since it all began, we continue to build bridges for business and to promote understanding and alignment across worlds.

2022 Summit
The 2022 Newport Global Summit Summit began at The Redwood Library with jazz musician, Peter Duchin, interviewed on the topic of his book, Face the Music, by Bob Merrill, radio talk show host of Legends Radio in Palm Beach. The Peter Duchin Legends Dinner at Newport Art Museum was a glamourous affair featuring fashion by iconic designer, Mary McFadden. The summit sessions were held at the Newport Art Museum.

The 2021 Newport Global Summit, occurred on August 18-19, 2021, in the wake of the global pandemic, reflected on the entrepreneurial spirit that continued to thrive and celebrated the bond between us.

In 2016 7Sisters hosted the inaugural Gold Coast Global Investment Summit at the home of John LeBoutillier and Susan Humes, the former studio of Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, their great– grandmother.
